I have some explaining to do...
You may have noticed a decrease in the amount that I've posted to my blog within the past month. I wish I could keep up with a posting schedule, but lately I've felt uninspired and not quite like myself. I'm not losing my love for fashion; I don't think I could ever actually lose that. With college right around the corner, the stress of applications and the fear of not knowing where I'll be in a year is starting to get the best of me. There is so much to do: so many applications to fill out, recommendations to get, grades to work for, and ACT scores to bring up. It saddens me that the deciding factor of whether or not you get into your dream school is based on a two digit standardized testing score.
I've been feeling uninspired, because I've been discouraged with my blog lately. I've been working on it for two years, and it frustrates me that it's not to where I'd like it to be. I have such high expectation for myself, and I plan to fulfill them, but I always forget that patience is key. I've accomplished a lot for only being 17, and I can't wait to see what the future has in store but it will just take time.
I'm not quitting my blog, or losing my love for fashion; the past month has been hard, and my parents have always taught me that school work and my education come first, and I am a firm believer in that. I'm working on a new posting schedule so that I can put out the most amount of content with the highest quality. My plan is to start posting every Wednesday, so that I have the entire weekend to prepare. This may change, but for now that's what I'm leaning towards.
I hope you guys understand, and I'm sorry that I've been off the grid lately... That is going to change! More posts coming very soon ;)
Thanks for listening to me vent (or not listening, if you're just in it for the pictures, thats cool too! hahah),
P.s. OMG aren't these pictures phenomenal??? I had the BEST photographer. Kian is a great friend of mine and his photography skills are out of this world. I can't wait to continue working with him in the future!
